Mixed Getaway Weekend, a Columbia University graduate film, in Dolby Atmos and supervised its translation to a 2.0 stereo deliverable.

Responsible for:

• Creating an immersive Dolby Atmos mix that supports the film’s narrative, atmosphere, and emotional tone

• Balancing dialogue, music, Foley, and environmental elements within a three-dimensional sound field

• Carefully balancing dialogue against lyrical background music to maintain intelligibility without compromising the songs’ presence or the film’s mood

• Using spatial placement and dynamic control to create separation between dialogue and music while preserving a natural cinematic soundscape

• Managing the Atmos-to-stereo translation while maintaining tonal balance, dynamics, and overall mix integrity Focused on preserving the film’s musical character while maintaining clear, intelligible dialogue across both immersive and stereo playback formats.
